A: HireWire encourages candidates during technical training to post their resumes on the candidates HireWire account and update their resumes on a regular basis (displaying their HireWire QR Codes and Urls on their resumes). Candidates voluntarily display documents on their accounts. HireWire does not require candidates to have documents.
A:No, currently, HireWire provides industry, specialty and tag searches for candidates rather than key word searches. An example of this is tying 45 wpm, RN, LPN, City, State, Zip etc. then clicking on search and a list of candidates populates.

A: Typically the pay is lower in SW MN, however, keep in mind so is the cost of living. Employers may have to increase their pay rate in order to attract talent. In the meantime, HireWire Trainers will educate candidates on the lower cost of living, lower crime rate, commute times and the community feel of Southwest Minnesota.
A: Some employers do but that is rare and depends a lot of the position level, employer budget, etc. If an employer is struggling to fill positions they may consider providing all or a percentage of relocation expenses or a hiring or sign on bonus for candidates who accept an offer to receive after so many days of service.

A: HireWire currently doesn’t screen candidates for relocation purposes. Candidates find HireWire Plus companies through trainings located in the Twin Cities and via the HireWire website. Employers contact potential qualified candidates though mobile friendly click and call or click and email to find out more about a candidate.
A: We tell candidates at training to add the year to their resume and then update it every six months to a year. Candidates stay in the system voluntarily much like they do on LinkedIn. As an employer, you decide if you want an active or a passive job seeker or if you are willing to consider both depending on your experience and your company culture.
